First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of CT scanner (photon counting) to see if it produces better quality images of arms and legs than the current standard CT scanner. Researchers will compare the image clarity and diagnostic accuracy in 200 adults who need a CT scan of an upper or lower extremity. The goal is to determine if the new technology can improve how doctors detect and diagnose bone and joint problems.
