First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026

Summary

This small pilot study will test a new treatment for moderate-to-severe acne that combines a special gel with red light. The gel, called RLP068/Cl, is activated by light to kill acne-causing bacteria and reduce inflammation. Ten people with facial acne will receive the treatment twice a week, and researchers will check if it safely improves their skin.
