Light at home might keep seniors steady and sharp
NCT ID NCT07260903
First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether a safe, at-home light treatment (photobiomodulation) can improve balance and thinking skills in people over 60. Falls and memory lapses are common with age, so researchers want to see if this simple approach can help older adults stay steady and mentally sharp. Sixty volunteers aged 60-80 will use a light device at home and be compared to a placebo group.
