Can taking photos help heal trauma? new study tests creative therapy
NCT ID NCT07277816
Summary
This study is testing a creative therapy called PEARL to see if it helps survivors of violence cope with trauma and feel more ready to seek help. PEARL involves taking photos over two weeks and then talking about them in a guided interview. Researchers will compare 40 women who get the therapy right away to those who wait three months to see if it improves their healing process.
