Can a phone call help young adults stop drinking?
NCT ID NCT07450248
Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of phone counseling can help young adults in Hong Kong who drink at harmful levels to quit or significantly cut back. It will involve 288 participants aged 18-35 who will receive either the counseling or general social support calls over six weeks. The main goal is to see if the counseling leads to more people being alcohol-free six months later, verified by a urine test.
