NCT ID NCT06896435
Summary
This study tested whether a simple text message program could help people reduce anxiety about their appearance. Over 400 people seeking help for body image concerns were randomly assigned to either receive daily text reminders to avoid certain appearance-related habits or to watch relaxing videos. The goal was to see which approach was better at reducing social anxiety and distress related to appearance.
