Summary
This study tested whether providing education and counseling over the phone could help people who recently had stoma surgery. Researchers worked with 66 patients to see if this support could improve how well they adjusted to living with a stoma and reduce related complications. They compared outcomes between a group that received the phone calls and a group that did not.
