Nurse calls aim to save transplanted kidneys from rejection

NCT ID NCT07364123

Summary

This study is testing if extra education and regular phone check-ins from a nurse can help kidney transplant patients remember to take their crucial anti-rejection medicines. Sixty patients will be split into two groups: one gets the phone support and a guidebook, while the other gets standard care. Researchers will check if the support leads to better medicine-taking habits over eight weeks, which could help keep the new kidney healthy.
