Phone support shows promise for bipolar management

Summary
This study tested whether eight weeks of counseling over the phone could help people with bipolar disorder. The goal was to see if this support made it easier for them to take their medication as prescribed and improve their daily functioning. 70 participants were split into two groups: one received the phone counseling, while the other received only their usual care.
