Summary
This study aims to understand if a protein called phoenixin-14 is connected to certain heart changes sometimes seen in babies born to mothers with diabetes. Researchers will measure this protein in the blood of 84 infants and compare heart ultrasound results between babies of diabetic mothers and babies of healthy mothers. The goal is to gather new knowledge, not to provide a treatment.
