Hospital patients help test new finger sensor for breathing
NCT ID NCT06633861
Summary
This study collected data from 86 hospitalized patients to help design better technology for measuring breathing rate. Patients wore a standard finger sensor and a separate nasal tube to compare measurements. The goal was to improve algorithms so that a simple finger sensor could one day accurately track breathing, not just heart rate and oxygen levels.
