First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at giving two different doses of phenylephrine along with oxytocin during cesarean sections to prevent a drop in blood pressure. Oxytocin helps the uterus contract after delivery but often causes low blood pressure. The goal is to find the best dose to keep mothers stable. About 112 women having planned C-sections will take part.
