First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study checks if a new fingerstick test called PheCheck™ can quickly measure phenylalanine levels in people with PKU or hyperphenylalaninemia. About 60 participants aged 1 year and older will provide a fingerstick blood sample, and the results will be compared to standard lab tests. The goal is to see if this simple test can help patients monitor their condition at home.
