New pill aims to outsmart Drug-Resistant prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT06705686
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests a new oral medication, (R)-9bMS, in about 18-30 men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (cancer that has spread and no longer responds to standard hormone therapy). The drug works by blocking a protein called ACK1, which may help shrink tumors and boost the immune system against cancer cells. The main goal is to check safety and find the best dose, while also looking at how well it controls the disease.
