App-Assisted pharmacists fight dangerous drug errors in hospitalized kids

NCT ID NCT07254741

Summary

This study tested whether having a pharmacist check children's medications daily, with the help of medical apps, could prevent mistakes and improve safety during a hospital stay. It involved 2,000 children and compared regular hospital care to care with this extra pharmacist review. The goal was to see if this approach could catch and fix more medication problems, leading to better outcomes for kids.
