Summary

This study looked at whether having a pharmacist review a patient's medications before starting cancer treatment could prevent harmful drug interactions. Researchers followed 440 adult cancer patients starting chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or oral targeted therapy. The goal was to see if the pharmacist's review led to changes in treatment plans to make them safer.
