Summary

This study tested two new devices that use gentle electrical stimulation to help reduce phantom limb pain—pain felt in a limb that's no longer there. About 109 people who had an amputation used either an interactive or a non-interactive device at home for three weeks. The goal was to see if these devices could lower pain and improve daily life.
