Electrical therapy aims to help stroke patients eat again

NCT ID NCT06866418

Summary

This study is collecting real-world data on an electrical stimulation treatment for severe swallowing problems after stroke. Researchers will compare 600 patients who receive the Phagenyx stimulation therapy plus standard care against similar patients who only get standard care. The goal is to see if the electrical stimulation helps patients swallow more safely and reduce their need for feeding tubes.
