Fertility study probes genetic testing for men with no sperm

NCT ID NCT06566599

First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks back at 400 couples where the male partner has a condition called non-obstructive azoospermia (no sperm in the semen). All couples used IVF with a special sperm injection technique. The goal is to see if testing embryos for genetic problems (PGT-A) improves the chance of a live birth compared to not testing. The study does not involve any new treatment—it simply analyzes past data to learn more.
