Heart hole & headache mystery: scientists hunt for genetic clues
NCT ID NCT07349004
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with migraine with aura also have a small, common heart opening called a PFO. Researchers will compare 240 adults with migraine, with and without a PFO, to look for differences in their genes, brain blood flow, and blood cell function. The goal is to learn more about the biological connection to inform future research and prevention strategies.
