First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving rural adults a personalized PFAS blood test result and easy-to-understand information can help them learn about environmental toxins, take steps to reduce exposure, and improve their overall wellness. About 110 adults from rural Nevada will provide a blood sample, complete surveys, and receive tailored advice. The goal is to see if this approach boosts knowledge and encourages healthier behaviors, with future plans for a larger trial.
