Can a simple blood test help rural communities fight 'Forever Chemicals'?

NCT ID NCT07391397

Summary

This study aims to see if providing rural adults with a personalized blood test for PFAS chemicals, along with an educational report, can improve their understanding of these 'forever chemicals' and their readiness to reduce exposure. Researchers will measure changes in knowledge, stress levels, and planned actions before and after participants receive their test results and report. The goal is to develop a helpful tool to address environmental health concerns in rural areas.
