NCT ID NCT07171463

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to treat paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AFib), a condition where the heart beats irregularly. It combines a gentle electrical method (pulsed-field ablation) with a heat-based method (thermal ablation) to target both the heart tissue and nearby nerves. The goal is to see if this combination reduces AFib episodes and prevents slow heart rates during the procedure. About 20 adults with AFib will take part.
