New surgery showdown: can a gentler technique fix penile curvature better?
NCT ID NCT07470528
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 10, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques for men with complex Peyronie's disease, a condition causing painful penile curvature. Researchers will test whether a newer, microsurgery-based method (subtunical microdissection) works better than the standard plaque incision and grafting technique. 80 men will be followed for 6 months to see which approach best straightens the penis and preserves erectile function.
