Heart scan showdown: which test gives doctors more certainty?
NCT ID NCT07187895
Summary
This study aimed to compare two types of heart scans to see which one gives doctors more confidence in their diagnosis. It involved patients with suspected stable coronary artery disease who had a borderline narrowing in their heart arteries. Each participant received both a standard SPECT scan and a newer PET scan using an experimental tracer called XTR004, so doctors could compare the clarity of the results.
