New scan could tell doctors which cancer drugs will work
NCT ID NCT07471776
Summary
This study is testing whether two types of PET scans can predict if a new class of targeted drugs will work for patients with advanced breast cancer. Researchers will scan 45 patients before they start treatment to see if the scan results match how well the drugs control their cancer. The goal is to help doctors choose the right treatment sooner by seeing which patients are most likely to benefit.
