Scientists test new scan to see inside rare tumors
NCT ID NCT05636540
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET scan to see if it can better show certain rare tumors called pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas. Up to 30 adults with these tumors will get the scan before their planned surgery or drug treatment. The goal is to learn more about the tumors, but the scan results will not be used to decide the patient's treatment.
