New scan technique could better predict lung Cancer's return
NCT ID NCT02821936
Summary
This study tested whether a more detailed type of PET scan could better predict if lung cancer returns within one year after treatment. Researchers compared this advanced scan method to standard PET scans in 40 patients with non-small cell lung cancer who received chemo-radiation. The goal was to see if the new imaging could help doctors identify patients at higher risk of recurrence earlier.
