Summary
This study tested whether a special type of PET/CT scan could predict how well patients with a specific form of lung cancer would respond to standard treatment. Researchers scanned 33 patients before they started combined chemotherapy and radiation. They then followed the patients to see if the scan results could forecast whether their cancer would progress.
