New scan may sharpen view of ovarian cancer before surgery

Summary

This study compares two imaging methods—PET/MR and standard CECT scans—to see which better locates ovarian cancer tumors and predicts if they can be fully removed by surgery. About 21 women with known or suspected ovarian cancer will receive both scans. The goal is to improve surgical planning and treatment decisions.
