First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study is testing whether advanced scans like PET/MR, PET/CT, and whole body MRI can find leukemia that has spread outside the bone marrow in people newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). About 77 participants will receive these scans to see how often this hidden leukemia occurs. The goal is to improve detection, not to treat the disease.
