Scientists scan to see why prostate cancer fights back

NCT ID NCT07302763

Summary

This study aims to understand why some tumors in a patient with advanced prostate cancer stop responding to treatment while others may still be controlled. Researchers will use a series of specialized PET scans on 45 participants to track individual tumors before, during, and after standard therapies. The goal is to learn how cancer evolves resistance, which could help doctors choose better treatments in the future.
