Scientists test new imaging tracer to watch cholesterol in action

NCT ID NCT04532489

Summary

This is an early, exploratory study to test a new imaging tracer called [18F]FNP-59. The goal is to see if it can safely and effectively create pictures of cholesterol movement in the adrenal glands of healthy volunteers. Researchers hope this improved imaging tool will help future studies understand diseases related to cholesterol and blood pressure.
