First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests a new radioactive tracer called [18F]FNP-59 to see how well it can image cholesterol in the adrenal glands using PET scans. Six healthy adults will receive a tiny, safe dose of the tracer to measure its uptake in the adrenal glands. The goal is to improve imaging for conditions like high blood pressure linked to adrenal problems.
