Could a Scan-Guided drug holiday ease the burden of kidney cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT07175480
Summary
This study is testing if a special type of scan (PET/CT) can safely tell doctors when to pause treatment for people with advanced kidney cancer. It is for patients who have responded well to at least a year of standard drug therapy. The goal is to see if a closely monitored break from medication can reduce side effects and costs without letting the cancer progress.
