Could a scan let kidney cancer patients pause treatment?

Summary

This study tests whether PET/CT scans can safely guide a treatment break for people with advanced kidney cancer. Participants must have responded well to at least 12 months of standard therapy. The goal is to see if stopping treatment based on scan results can maintain disease control while reducing side effects. About 30 adults will take part.
