Custom 3D guides aim to make shoulder replacements more precise
NCT ID NCT03839758
Summary
This study is testing whether a personalized, 3D-printed surgical guide can improve the accuracy of shoulder replacement surgery for people with severe shoulder arthritis. Researchers will compare the custom guide to the standard surgical method in 112 patients. The goal is to see if the custom guide leads to better implant placement, less bone loss during surgery, and fewer complications.
