Summary
This study is testing if a more personalized radiation plan for the neck is as good at preventing cancer from coming back as the standard, broader radiation approach. It will involve 462 adults with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (a type of head and neck cancer) that hasn't spread to distant organs. The goal is to see if targeting radiation more precisely can protect healthy tissues like the thyroid and esophagus, potentially reducing side effects while keeping treatment just as effective.
