Custom radiation doses tested in fight against spreading prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT06943495
Summary
This study is testing whether personalized radiation doses can be safely increased for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to hormone therapy. Researchers will compare customized treatment plans based on kidney radiation measurements against standard fixed doses to see if higher radiation can be given safely. The goal is to better control cancer growth while monitoring for serious side effects.
