Personalized medicine trial aims to slow kidney failure

NCT ID NCT07239570

Summary

This study is testing if a personalized treatment plan, guided by simple urine tests, can better protect kidney function compared to standard care. It will enroll 125 adults with chronic kidney disease and protein in their urine. Researchers will use the test results to decide which of three newer kidney-protective medications to give, and in what order, to try and slow the disease most effectively.
