New Team-Based strategy aims to tame scarring lung disease

NCT ID NCT06626438

Summary

This study is testing if a personalized, team-based care model can improve quality of life and slow disease progression for people with interstitial lung disease (ILD), a condition that causes lung scarring. Researchers will compare this new model, where patients see a doctor, physiotherapist, psychologist, and dietitian together, to standard care. The goal is to see if addressing multiple aspects of a patient's health leads to better overall outcomes.
