Lab-Grown Mini-Tumors could guide cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07351591
Summary
This study is testing a new method to personalize treatment for advanced bile duct cancer. Doctors will grow tiny 3D models of a patient's tumor in a lab and test different chemotherapy drugs on them to see which works best. The goal is to see if using this 'mini-tumor' test to choose treatment leads to better outcomes than the standard approach.
