Lab-Grown tumor models test drugs before patients get them
NCT ID NCT07330271
Summary
This study is testing a personalized approach to treat a rare abdominal cancer called peritoneal mesothelioma. Researchers will grow a small model of a patient's tumor in the lab and test different drugs on it to see which works best before giving it to the patient. The goal is to see if this method helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse compared to standard chemotherapy.
