Lab test aims to match advanced cancer patients with their best drug
NCT ID NCT07468422
Summary
This study is testing a new lab method called OPTin to see if it can help doctors choose the most effective existing drugs for patients with advanced solid tumors who have no standard treatments left. Researchers will take a small piece of a patient's tumor, test different drugs on it in the lab, and then use those results to guide treatment. The goal is to see if this personalized approach leads to better tumor control and remission rates.
