Scientists test 'Brain Decoder' to tailor depression treatment
NCT ID NCT05327387
Summary
This study aims to develop a personalized system for electrical brain stimulation to treat depression. Researchers will work with 25 adults who have epilepsy and already have electrodes implanted for their standard medical care. The goal is to create a computer model that can read a patient's brain signals to track their depression symptoms and predict how their brain will respond to stimulation.
