New approach aims to save more lives from deadly heart shock
NCT ID NCT07345559
Summary
This study is testing whether personalizing blood pressure targets for patients with cardiogenic shock—a life-threatening condition where the heart suddenly can't pump enough blood—can improve survival and protect organ function. Researchers will compare a standard blood pressure goal to a personalized goal that accounts for pressure in the veins. The trial aims to find a better way to manage this critical condition in 406 adult patients.
