New 'Artificial Disc' implant tested for chronic back pain sufferers

NCT ID NCT06860867

Summary

This is an early, small study to check if a new spinal implant called PerQdisc is safe and might help people with chronic low back pain from a worn-out disc. It will involve about 5 people who have had back pain for over 6 months that hasn't gotten better with treatments like physical therapy or medication. The main goal is to gather initial safety data to see if the device is ready for a larger, more definitive trial.
