Summary
This study compares a new method called PERKA-B to standard lab tests for finding bacteria in infected wounds. Researchers will take tissue samples from 300 patients with infected wounds and process them both ways to see which detects more germs. The goal is to improve diagnosis and treatment of wound infections.
