First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special stitching technique (periosteal sutures) helps bone grafts heal better when placing dental implants in the upper front jaw. Forty people took part. The main goal was to measure bone thickness around the implant using special X-rays. No direct benefit was expected for participants, but the results could improve future dental implant procedures.
