First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study tests a surgical technique using a muscle flap from the jaw to rebuild small to medium-sized defects in the floor of the mouth, often caused by cancer removal. Twenty adults will receive the procedure, and researchers will measure pain, speech, swallowing, and healing. The goal is to see if this flap is a reliable option for reconstruction.
